One of the Monster Crochet episodes airs tomorrow on HGTV. If you've got cable, here's your chance to see me and my long lost pal Briana make crochet magic on the tube. I'm taping it, but I don't know if I can bear to watch it. Do me a favor? If I'm a terrible embarrassment to the craft world as a whole, just don't tell me.
Thanks for the airdate info Pam! Smoochies.
Here we go down the rabbit hole Bri...
Oh boy! I hope someone will record it and share with me. This is one of those rare times I wish I had TV.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Now you'll be the Famous Monster Crochet!
ReplyDeletewhole-y crochet-oly Batwing, I gotta see this one!
ReplyDelete[i got to be a call-girl on Simply Quilts eons ago, #613, if you really must know...]
Ooh, I got the tivo set for it! Thanks for reminding me, I have been wanting to tivo that show and I keep forgetting. Lol Can't wait to see what you look like. :D
ReplyDeleteHoly Shit.
ReplyDeleteAAACCKK!
ReplyDeleteI miss Drew's performance, and now I'll probably miss yours too...
Life is not so wonderful lately. Interfers with my tv watching. Must revamp life to allow crocheting and tv.
Really.
oh man... you'll tape it yes????
ReplyDeleteso exciting!
Dang! I wish I had cable so I could catch this. I am sure you both did a SUPER, FAB job and you have nothing at all to worry about!
ReplyDeletegoing to get me friend to tape it!
ReplyDeletewheee!
clap clap clap....You guys did great!
ReplyDeleteIt was totally by chance that i caught your episode today! SOOOO glad i happened to turn on the tube this morning! :) You were awesome, and you guys looked great. I was astounded watching your hands doing that chain stitch so fast, like it was nothing! :) Bravo on a super-fabulous performance, and for once again making me lament that i cannot crochet to save my life! LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! We can say we knew you when....!
ReplyDeleteMan!!!!
ReplyDeleteWith all the going back to school chaos...I missed it.
Insert many, many choice and juicy cuss words.
I'm too mad to think of any good ones.
I so hope it airs again.
:(
Watched it - loved it!! I really enjoyed seeing how that clever hat was made - must make one when I brush up on the crochet skills. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou were fantastic! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteRegina - your show was fantastic! That little hat is so darn cute. The wrap you were wearing was beautiful, was it a creation of yours? I couldn't tell if it was fabric or knit/crochet. I think you can proudly say your episode was a success. The ending when you were all trying on the hats was adorable, very well done and looked as though you were having a blast. A sigh of relief...you were FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeleteDang I missed it! Didn't know Uncommon Threads made it onto the HGTV line up until today. I set the TiVo up to catch every episode since HGTV usually reruns everything. I'll catch it later. Now I have to be patient...
ReplyDeleteBoth of you were grrrreat! Loved the show. I really liked the old Hollywood hat and the chicken hat. Also, liked Brianna's filet. Well done. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteI saw this one! I happened upon it and saw your hat, and instantly recognized it. You looked stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat? No Grilled Meat wrap on the show? I am bummed!
ReplyDeleteYou two were fabu on the show. Tell Bri to lay off the crack, her hands were shaky. LOL!! I'd be nervous and probably be a jittery, blathering fool.
I really enjoy the bit on filet crochet. My MIL's aunt crocheted the Last Supper in filet and she is wanting to do it as well. Now off to find the pattern...
Awesome!!!!!! I think y'all did a great job! Sometimes the people on there aren't very clear with the "how to" part... but I thought you both did an excellent job with that!
ReplyDelete(wow... you do crochet fast!!!)
the hats were awesome... loved the wire trick... gives me some ideas!
(clapping)
I'll be watching... it should be fun! Hope we see something on the creative side!
ReplyDelete@#*@#*#! I missed it. Is it up on youtube? :(
ReplyDeleteYou are a superstar, LL! I'll be watching you in HD :)
ReplyDeleteHey..I saw that.
ReplyDeleteI feel oddly like a stalker now.
