Check out my new pillow designs in the latest issue of Crochet Today magazine! They're perfect for summer! And hey, who doesn't want to crochet a lobster??
I for one, can think of nothing BETTER than crocheting a lobster! Oooh and if you ever write up a pattern for a 3D one (to be your crab's friend) I will be a willing test crocheter!!
Ooh, those are great. My mother is working towards a collection of ornaments to allow an all-nautical-theme Christmas tree, so every winter I find myself trying to figure some salty items to craft for her. You've done me a great service... and so long before Christmas!
Love the lobster. I just picked up a Crochet Today Magazine today. I saw the lobster, and immediately thought it looked like "Lady Linoleum's" work. Of course it doesn't say Lady Linoleum in the mag, so I had to log on here to see what your real name was. Great job and congrats. I can't wait to make my lobster! :)
So did you bring home the infected appendix [not spelled right? do you care?] in a jar so you can design a crocheted one??
Way cool lobster! I am doing a beachy embroidery thing, so I have crabby things on the brain...or at least thats my excuse.
Hey~~I got a visit from my friendly mail-delivery-woman-bearing-gifts including a squishie of yarn bits from the stash of the Monster Crochter herself...remember her? I think she is on vacation right now....
Your patterns are quirky and unique! My little boy wants to go to Red Lobster so bad, but as that's a bit out of budget, I made him his own red lobster and sewed it to a blue and white striped sweater. While he still wants to eat a lobster, this seems to be keeping him happy for now. Thanks (and just so you know, I became a Crochet Today reader just for your things.)
Wow.
ReplyDeleteJust awesome.

ReplyDeleteIf I crochet one, I'm gonna call it a crawfish and make it ORANGE!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
I was at A Mano when the magazine came in. I quickly turned to your page and Shannita went bananas....in a good way.
These are great!
ReplyDeleteGot it in the mail a couple of weeks ago! I'm thinking Lobster bag. Kudos on the designs!
ReplyDeleteNow, THAT is what I'm talking about!! Not your grandmother's crochet---the doll tissue cover, etc. Thank YOU!!
