I just haven't been "feelin' it" folks. It happens, right? Oh, not usually to me, but what can I say? I was struck dumb by the summer blahs. I needed a little jump start to get back on track. So, I had my hair done...
A little color. A lotta cut. Ahhh, feeling a little human again.
That pic is not bad right?
Yeah, third attempt. Take a look at the first two...
Yes, that is my tan teen. Isn't she just lovely?
Anyway, I have a pile of FO's sitting next to me, which will be unveiled this week. Happy Monday everyone!
I still can't help but think that you don't look old enough to have a teenager. No way, Jose. And that hair cut makes you look even younger! Super cute do.
ReplyDeleteCute cut and color! I went real short this summer (no color, I can't be bothered with keeping it up)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the 'do! And your DD is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back :) I look forward to seeing the FOs!
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteFrom another FOTC fan! ;-D
Great cut and color - and great "help" livening up the background from your assistant!
ReplyDeleteGotta love the gooberheads... err....teens. I only have one more year to enjoy saying I have a teen :(
ReplyDeleteLove the new 'do!
I love the color of your hair. I need to get brave one of these days and just color it.
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel better, I'm a mom and still jump in pics like that. Can't help it, haha!
Lookin' good!
ReplyDeleteA haircut always does wonders for my blahs.
Love the hair! It looks great. (I'm all about the hair. It might be an illness, i don't know)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how grown up your daughter is looking!
Awww I wish you lived around here. I'd totally do your hair AND half of my salon could nerd out about yarn with you.
ReplyDeleteI go through those "not feeling it" blog times.
ReplyDeleteGlad you updated yours though.
Love the hair.
Well at least your mother reads your blog!!! I think the only family member to read mine is my DIL, so I have to say nice things about her *smile*.
ReplyDeleteAbout hair...I went into the hair cut joint and the lady said "so how much do you want cut off?" I looked in the mirror, hummed and hawed, looked straight at her, "all of it". It has been hot here in the NW, well, hot for us, and combine that with hot-flashing, I wanted my hair GONE. [I have moved up from the 'flash-es' to the 'flash-ING']
Awesome hair. And trust me, you're not alone on the blahs. It happens. Sometimes we just got to take some time to get back in the funk. :) Looking forward to seeing the FO's.
ReplyDeleteI have a whole swag of photos of me and various family members illuminated by the light of the computer... something so addictive and simple, I can't resist.
ReplyDeleteGreat new cut... such things oft serve the perfect thing to put a swing in the step.
see you, g
