First up, Supersize me!
Yep, these big ole floor cushions are a quick crochet as they use 3-4 strands of worsted weight yarn and a very large hook. I think they would be wonderful in a triad of Autumn colors. Totally fun!
Second, please follow me south and west!
I know, not my usual design fare. However, I think these desert pillows turned out quite splendid! If you're ready to try some crochet intarsia, this is your next project!
Currently, I'm working on some projects for the Winter issue of CT. I can't tell you what I'm designing, but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed...
Great pillows! I like the southwest ones especially well.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you still having time to design! Yay! Love those Supersizers.
ReplyDeleteCoolios! I picked up this issue based on several patterns, including these, without checking to see if I knew any of the designers. I especially love the southwestern pillows - I've been thinking of knitting and crocheting a bunch of throw pillows for my "relaxation zone" (a.k.a. the couch in front of the TV and the video game console) and those would make a nice accent. :)
ReplyDeleteOooOh that is your pattern? I haven't gotten the magazine yet, but I saw them on the site. I didn't know they were yours, though. I'm anxious to try this pattern! :)
ReplyDeleteI was just flipping through this mag today. Great pillows, especially the intarsia one!
ReplyDeletelove, love, love 'em!
ReplyDeleteespecially the intarsia southwest designs... stunning!
can't wait to get my hands on the new issue... love to look!
Awesome! I just picked this up last night. =)
ReplyDeleteI love the Supersize floor cushions. They remind me of donuts.
ReplyDeleteYum! :o)
OOH FUN!
ReplyDeleteI love your big pillows.
I bet if I made these from a durable yarn they'd be fun as patio cushions, too.
;)
Oh man! My family thought I was nuts when I talked about making a giant amigurumi to use as an ottoman. And now look!
