Hi, I just happened on your blog as I was looking for a crochet pattern. You mentioned the 70's so I thought maybe you would know what a 'quiet purse' is. My grandma would use the bottom of a dish soap bottle, a hole punch to make holes along the top edge, and then crochet along the top edge. So it looked like a purse with drawstrings but then you fold the crocheting down over the bottom and it becomes a bassinet. There was a pillow, little blanket, and a little dolly. Something to keep a little one quiet in church on Sunday mornings.... I know I'm rambling but have you ever seen something like that and/ or a pattern for something like that? Thanks for your help. teresa
