The fun never stops...

How was your weekend LadyLinoleum?

Oh, okay if you don't count my offspring's teen mouth shooting off at me (via phone, text message, as well as in the flesh) for the entire day on Saturday whilst trying to conduct my knitting and crochet classes.  Or the fact that the hubby and I had to rush the very same teen and mouth to the hospital during the wee hours of Sunday morning for an emergency appendectomy.  Yeah, fun stuff.

On the bright side though, I did get a lot of knitting and crocheting done...

Ahhhh!  I need a vacation.  One that does not include answering work emails or showing up to an office in some distant city.  Possible?  Who knows!

Actually, I'd just settle for a cocktail right about now...

OH NO!!! I hope your daughter is feeling better now. That must have been a scary time for you. Maybe the grumpiness came from the appendix...you can only hope.

Ack! I hope everything is going better now and calms down significantly (and stays calm for the foreseeable future.) Tell your daughter to feel better soon!

Oh dear! I hope your daughter is okay! About the mouth thing: my teen #2's mouth has moved in and made itself comfortable. The mouth even prides itself on being stubborn! My only consolation is that teen #1's mouth moved out earlier this year and only comes back for ocassional visits. Hang in there! There's an eventual ending. I wish your daughter a speedy recovery from her surgery. Poor thing!

Yeah....I feel ya'. My preteen grew his extra, cranky head a little earlier than I anticipated. A little appendectomy surgery might revive my compassionate side, if only for a moment. Hope she mends happier.

Hope she recovers quickly.
Take a deep breath and try to relax. Even for just a few minutes.

Well, it was a sucky weekend, but at least you can blame the mouth on her age and illness. I've got a three-year-old with separation issues and a stubborn streak a mile wide. I figure she'll grow out of it and become an actual human in 20 years or so. Wanna trade daughters?

Warm and fuzzy vibes to Miss LenaLinoleum during her recovery!!! I hope both of you get to rest up and feel better!

That is rough! I am hoping for her sake that the mouthiness was a direct result of the pain that she must have been in! I wish her well in her healing!

Glad to hear Miss L is fine and on the road to complete recovery.

Stuff like this always happens just when you are sure you would sell them for a pocketful of wet fish. Snaps you back into the reality that you DO love them!

Sorry to hear about the emergency appendectomy. You're right, no fun at all! It sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. It does get overwelming at times. :-/ At least you have the right craft (crochet) and cocktails. Cocktails and crochet always have a way of soothing my nerves. :) Hope things calm down for you soon!
