If the shoe fits, buy it!

Nothing like shopping for shoes in New York! Actually, I shop for shoes pretty much everywhere I go. It's a sickness, I know. I averaged two pairs per day while in the Big Apple...

Hey, no cracks about the sparkling Easy Spirits. They were an emergency purchase during a mid 45 block walkabout. My Vans were killing me!

Love New York...

Unlike you, I don't have the need anymore for a gazillion shoes in various styles-my methodology is simple-winter, Uggs-get various colors, that way you can wear them even with your PJ's.

Summer, TEVA Mush flip flops, buy 5 pair, all different colors, so they go with everything, including a basic black pair for those occasions whrn black is needed. Two pair of "dress shoes" for summer-both brown leather and I am set.

Regina, when you get past 40, you just don't give a crap anymore (although I admit, the Easy Spirit would never work for me, although I do have a pair of Clark's misleadingly labeled Indigo marked down from $80 to $10 at DSW and the most comfortable wedge heels I have ever worn and they make my foot look good too(that's what the oldsters at work told me anyway and they brought it up). I just pretend I didn't see Clark's on the box. I refuse to become my mother.

If you like shoes, just go for it - that looks like a successful shopping trip to me! I'm just jealous cos any pair of shoes I buy ends up covered in mud from dog-walking or stomped on by children at work so no point in purchasing anything too pretty any more..although there are a couple of pairs involving silver leather, embroidery & butterflies that I tippy-toe round the house in only. (Nothing wrong with Clarks by the way!)

Love! I have a weakness for shoes, but I only seem to wear one pair.

I'm noticing a theme in your recent shoe purchases.....Christmas colors! Red, Green, Silver, Sparkly! Christmas in June? OK. Why not?

Oooh did you hit Century 21 shoes? I have to limit my visits there or I get out of hand. Well, I'm out of hand anyway - I had to promise my husband that for every new pair I buy, I have to get rid of an old pair - it actually works out - I can always find a pair that's out of style or just worn out. Love all the red flip flops!

Thanks for stopping by my walking blog!

I should hook up with you, I HATE to buy shoes. I have 2 pairs that I wear everywhere, and I bought them both because they're comfy. I have NO pretty shoes, isn't that awful? I even wear my Crocs to church...

Well, as long as you wear them all. I used to buy shoes, but then I figured out that I never wear them. So I stopped. Plus, I don't really like to wear shoes.. I'd rather be barefoot.

One year my Target Chick [the dd that works at Target] came home with a bag FULL of flip flops, all colors, and said proudly "they were on sale"...

One can never have too many pairs of red shoes, I've found.

Especially candy apple shiny Dorothy red shoes like those in the middle there.

Bravo!

Wow, I love them all! That's a great shoe haul. Nothing like a whole bag of shoes to make a woman happy!

Gimme the green moccasins. XD

I just bought myself some moccasins in NY (Lake George, not Manhattan). Great minds think alike!
