Guess who's hat made the cover of Crochet Today mag???
Yes, that would be my hat!!!
I am so excited!
Needless to say the pattern for this very funky, yet oddly fashionable earflap hat is included within the pages of the latest issue.
But wait, there's more...
I also designed a pair of fuzzy faux Ugg-ish slippers for this issue of the mag as well.
Just trying to help you guys keep your heads and feet nice and toasty this winter.
Happy crocheting!

Oh snap! I've been lookin for a pattern for a hat like this all over. Figures that you'd pull through, of all people. You rule.
Holy cow! HUGE congrats on the cover. That hat rocks.
That's so awesome!! I love the hat and boots. That issue is definitely hitting my bookshelf as soon as I see it!
WOW! That is fabulous! How very exciting. I think I would like one in pink. Now, if I could just learn how to crochet...
oh, I love the boots. it's freeeeeezing in our apartment and I can't have enough slippers. I'm definitely going to make those! congrats on the cover!
Congrats on the cover photo! You definitely deserve it...all the fantabulous items that you create!
To think, I saw you crochet the boots!!
Awesome! Congratulations! I'll be on the lookout for it. =)
Cool hat - congratulations on being a cover girl!
What? No bacon? That'll keep you toasty if you eat enough of it.
;)
Congrats, LL - for the record, both are pretty hot. I'll have to pick up a copy just to see how you made the Ugg feet. I've been wanting to make some slippers, but am not sure how to do the sole.
Way to ROCK the cover!
That has got to feel good.
Woohoo!
Yes I love this pattern and my hubby has already bought me the yarn to make the hat for him! Thanks for all of your great inspired patterns. I Absolutely LOVE the Birds inspired pattern!!

I scoured the bookstore and the craft shop I was in today for new mags but nada. Hopefully they will pop up soon.
Should we be asking you to autograph the cover??? :)
Congratulations. that hat and shoes are gorgeous.
Congrats, crochet queen!
Congratulations on making the cover, Regina! Love the hat..AND two of my girls are screaming for me to make them those gorgeous boots! (and they are in their 20's!) Way to go, girl!
Congrats! And I find it greatly funny that you have created a lovely winter ensemble and you live in LA. It totally cracks me up.
Must go grab that magazine!!!
Oh man! Just when I tell myself I don't need to buy any more crochet magazines ('cause I do have a lot), you bring up something like this! Something so awesome and brilliant, I have no choice but to run out and buy yet another magazine.
On a serious note: way to go on making the cover!! You absolutely deserve it.
Wow, on the cover, no less! Those are awesome. Just my kind of slippers, big and comfy and cozy-looking.
wow, what a beautiful hat. My names Annet, a fellow crocheter. I've got my own blog so feel free to stop by.
Love the hat & boots set. Congrats on making the cover.
Ms. Linoleum,
Hi. I'm de-lurking to say how much I love those patterns; I've been wanting to make really *warm* hats and this looks perfect. One thing -- it looks like the hat lining only covers the flaps. Yes? No? If so, I figure I can add an increase round and line the whole thing, make it extra toasty. (Mmmm, toast...)
Your Number One Fan (heh heh),

PS Congrats for making the cover!!
Those are YOUR patterns? GIRL! My sub ran out, but I singly ordered this issue just for that hat and those uggs!!!! WOOHOOO! (((((HUGS))))) sandi
Lovely and congratulations!!!!
Ditto Everybody!
How incredibly awesome! Congratulations and thank you- I've been looking all over for the pattern to these boots and the hat is just too too!
I have the magazine and look forward to making the hat. I have had a few requests from family members for ear flap hats, but my designs weren't nearly as "cool" as this one....
congratulations!! I need to grab that issue. your patterns are wonderful :)
